Graphical depiction of the weather story for today.

For today and tonight:
Scattered thunderstorms will again develop this afternoon and
continue this evening. Due to a moist airmass and slow moving
thunderstorms, heavy rainfall will be possible with the
thunderstorms. The best chance for thunderstorms will be over the
higher terrain and along the Palmer Divide through Lincoln and
Washinton counties. Elsewhere across the Urban Corridor and eastern
plains, isolated thunderstorms will be possible. Heavy rainfall
last night across Lincoln, Elbert and eastern Douglas counties has
saturated soils and increased the flash flood threat.

For Sunday through Friday:
There will be a chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms each
day, a bit more numerous across the mountains and higher terrain.
The main threat with these storms will be heavy rain. A cool front
is expected to move into northeastern Colorado on Monday.
Temperatures will be slightly above seasonal normals for Sunday then
near normal through next week.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight, however
heavy rainfall and flooding reports will be appreciated.
