Much cooler temperatures are in store today in the wake of a strong cold front that moved through the forecast area this morning. Frost is likely over the north and high valleys on Tuesday morning as well as the Gunnison River valley as overnight temperatures will be below freezing. Therefore, a Freeze Warning is in effect for tonight through Tuesday morning for these areas. A little more moisture will work into the region through midweek bringing a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly to the mountains. Another disturbance will approach from the northwest on Thursday for increased southwest winds.
