A strong cold front will move through the Tri-State area shortly after sunrise Monday morning, bringing much cooler temperatures and very windy conditions under mostly sunny skies. Winds will shift to the northwest and increase into the 20 to 30 mph range with gusts to 45 mph possible. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the low 70s northwest to the low 80s south and east...some 20 to 25 degrees cooler than those experienced Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will remain below average for Tuesday before returning to near seasonal levels on Wednesday.
