* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 to 28 degrees
expected.

* WHERE...South Willamette Valley, Foothills of the Northern and
Central Oregon Cascades, West Columbia River Gorge of Oregon above
500 ft, and Upper Hood River Valley.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 9 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

Information:
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.

Take steps now to protect tender outdoor plants from the cold.
Consider temporarily moving outdoor potted plants indoors if they
are sensitive to cold temperatures.
